How does the APST “Ladybug” Guarantee work?

• Unless the trip cannot proceed, APST stands in for the failing company and ensures your journey continues under similar or identical conditions. This is known as a service guarantee.
  
• If the trip cannot continue, you can request a refund. Since the decree n° 2015-1111 of September 2, 2015, “Financial guarantees are allocated to the full reimbursement of funds received by the travel operator for commitments made with the end consumer for services in progress or to be delivered, ensuring, in particular in case of payment default leading to insolvency, the repatriation of travelers and covering additional accommodation expenses directly resulting
  from the repatriation organization.” This is known as a financial guarantee.
