The surrounding landscape is simply stunning and many hiking trails are available from the house leading to the famous hills of the Alpilles. The village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, its cafes and restaurants as well as the Roman ruins are all less than 10 minutes drive from the property.

Eygalières is located 4kms away, and is one of the closest villages to the property. It is renowned for its magnificent landscapes and its authentic Provençal charm. Protected from mass tourism, its restaurants and its weekly market highlight the cuisine and organic products from its region (olive oil, wine, lavender honey, Cavaillon melons, fruit and vegetables). The village offers many activities and immediate proximity to major sites open all year round (Cité des Papes in Avignon, St Rémy and Les Baux de Provence, villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste, Mont Ventoux and Parc du Lubéron) and events major summer cultural events (Avignon Festival, Chorégie d’Orange, Rencontres d’Arles, Festival Les Sud, Ferias de Nîmes). For those who cannot resist the call of the sea, the Calanques of Marseille and the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (Camargue) are barely 1h15 away.
